\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLast Updated:<\/strong> August 13, 2025\n\nWelcome to Pedi N Nails! We are committed to providing a professional and welcoming environment for all our guests. These Terms of Use outline what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. By booking or receiving services at our salon, you agree to the terms below.\n\nThese Terms do not override any of your rights under Ontario law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 and other applicable legislation.\n

1. Service Quality & Responsibility<\/h3>\nAt Pedi N Nails, we take pride in delivering clean, high-quality, and skilled nail services. All services are performed with reasonable care and attention, in accordance with industry standards and Ontario consumer law.\n
    \n\t
  • Please notify us of any allergies, skin sensitivities, or health conditions before your service so we can ensure your safety and comfort.<\/li>\n\t
  • Clients are encouraged to inspect their nails and overall results before leaving the salon. If you have concerns, inform us before you leave, and we will do our best to resolve them immediately.<\/li>\n\t
  • We reserve the right to decline or modify a service if it may cause harm to your health or compromise safety, hygiene, or technical integrity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    2. Refunds & 7-Day Repair Warranty<\/h3>\nDue to the personal and custom nature of our services, refunds are not typically provided once a service has been completed. However, we offer a 7-day satisfaction warranty for the following:\n
      \n\t
    • If you experience chipping, lifting, peeling, or similar issues within 7 days of your original appointment date, we will fix it free of charge.<\/li>\n\t
    • The problem must be related to the original service and not caused by misuse, accidents, or work done elsewhere.<\/li>\n\t
    • Free repairs will match the original color\/design only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nIf a service is clearly below expected standards and cannot be corrected, we may offer a refund or alternate resolution as required by law.\n

      3. Appointments, Deposits & Cancellations<\/h3>\nTo ensure fairness for all clients and staff, we ask that you honor the following policies:\n
        \n\t
      • Punctuality:<\/strong> Please arrive on time. If you\u2019re more than 10 minutes late, we may need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.<\/li>\n\t
      • Cancellations & Changes:<\/strong> You may cancel or reschedule your appointment through the confirmation email or by calling us. We kindly ask for at least 4 hours\u2019 notice.<\/li>\n\t
      • Deposits:<\/strong> Some bookings, especially group appointments, may require a deposit.\n
          \n\t
        • Deposits are fully refundable if cancellation is made at least 4 hours in advance.<\/li>\n\t
        • If cancellation is made with less than 4 hours\u2019 notice or you fail to show up, your deposit may be forfeited.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\t
        • No-show or Late Cancellation Fee:<\/strong> For appointments without a deposit, a $25 fee may apply if you cancel late or do not show up without notice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nWe understand emergencies happen, and we always aim to be reasonable\u2014please communicate with us if you need to adjust your booking.\n

          4. Online Booking Policy<\/h3>\nTo ensure smooth scheduling, we ask all clients to follow our Online Booking Caution guidelines. We reserve the right to cancel any appointment that violates the following:\n
            \n\t
          • Wrong Location:<\/strong> Appointments must be booked at the correct salon branch (e.g., Bracebridge). Appointments booked at the wrong location may be canceled if we are unable to accommodate you elsewhere.<\/li>\n\t
          • Unsupported Services:<\/strong> Some services\u2014such as nail repairs, removals, or eyebrow waxing\u2014are not available for online booking. Please call us to check availability.<\/li>\n\t
          • Notes Section Misuse:<\/strong> The booking \u201cNotes\u201d field should not be used to add extra services or additional guests. Appointments are scheduled for one person only.<\/li>\n\t
          • Group Bookings:<\/strong> For groups of 3 or more, please call to arrange the appointment and pay a deposit. Online bookings for groups made without a deposit may be canceled.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nWe will attempt to contact you before canceling, but if we’re unable to reach you or resolve the issue in time, we may cancel the appointment without prior notice to avoid disruption to our schedule.\n\nAny deposits or prepayments for canceled appointments will be refunded or credited as appropriate. This policy does not affect your statutory rights under Ontario law.\n

            5. In-Salon Conduct & Environment<\/h3>\nWe work hard to create a respectful, comfortable, and safe environment. To ensure this:\n
              \n\t
            • Inappropriate behavior is not tolerated, including:\n
                \n\t
              • Aggressive, abusive, or threatening language<\/li>\n\t
              • Persistent negativity or disrespectful tone<\/li>\n\t
              • Actions that cause emotional discomfort to staff or other guests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\t
              • If such behavior occurs, we may refuse or immediately end the session, and the full service fee may still apply.<\/li>\n\t
              • We reserve the right to deny service to anyone who violates these standards, while remaining in full compliance with human rights laws.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nIn addition:\n
                  \n\t
                • Please refrain from wearing strong fragrances to accommodate guests with sensitivities.<\/li>\n\t
                • Children and pets are welcome only if receiving services or, in the case of pets, if they are certified service animals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nWe do not discriminate based on race, religion, gender, disability, age, sexual orientation, or any other ground protected by the Ontario Human Rights Code.\n

                  6. Gift Cards & Prepaid Packages<\/h3>\n
                    \n\t
                  • Redeemable for services at our Gravenhurst and Bracebridge locations.<\/li>\n\t
                  • Cannot be redeemed for cash.<\/li>\n\t
                  • Lost or stolen cards will not be replaced unless you present proof of purchase; replacement is at our discretion.<\/li>\n\t
                  • No expiry date (unless stated otherwise at time of purchase for a specific service).<\/li>\n\t
                  • Must be presented at time of service.<\/li>\n\t
                  • Non-refundable.<\/li>\n\t
                  • May be used toward any service offered at either location, regardless of what is printed on the card.<\/li>\n\t
                  • If you choose a service whose current price is higher than the value loaded on the card (or the price has increased since purchase), you will pay the difference plus applicable tax. Any remaining balance stays on the card for future use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                    7. Photos, Social Media, and Consent<\/h3>\nWe may occasionally ask to photograph your nails after a service for use in our portfolio, website, or social media. We will always:\n
                      \n\t
                    • Request your verbal or written consent first<\/li>\n\t
                    • Avoid including your face or other identifiable information<\/li>\n\t
                    • Respect your right to opt out at any time\u2014just let us know<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                      8. Privacy & Data Handling (PIPEDA Compliance)<\/h3>\nWe respect your privacy and collect personal information only for necessary purposes, such as:\n
                        \n\t
                      • Booking and confirming your appointment<\/li>\n\t
                      • Providing safe and customized services (e.g., noting allergies)<\/li>\n\t
                      • Customer service follow-up or promotions (only if opted in)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nWe do not share your personal data with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.\n\nYour data is:\n
                          \n\t
                        • Stored securely<\/li>\n\t
                        • Retained only for as long as needed<\/li>\n\t
                        • Available to you upon request (you may view, correct, or delete your information at any time)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nThis policy complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).\n

                          9. Changes to Terms & Acknowledgment<\/h3>\nWe may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are made:\n
                            \n\t
                          • The updated version will be posted on our website and available in the salon<\/li>\n\t
                          • Major changes may also be communicated through booking confirmations or emails<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nBy booking or receiving services after updates, you agree to the latest Terms of Use.\n\nThese Terms are designed to protect both you and our team.
